I promised pictures of our new digs... such as they are. this is a view from the driveway in front of the garage, so you can see the whole layout! :) I just opened the wall and took the picture!

This is the media center ( where the old shelves with the oil and filters used to be...

the living area... kinda messy right now, we do live here after all..:)

the bedroom dressers that we do have use of and the closet racks that dad brilliantly rigged up for our clothes.

a view of the kitchen ( the fridge and freezer with the washer in the middle serve as food prep area. with the table on the side to hold most everything else... yea we eat a lot of microwave stuff on paper plates right now. we can cook in the trailer too if we want.

this is the best part of our "studio" apartment. we were able to put our bed in so we at least can sleep great.

That completes the tour. We can use the bathrooms in the house until tomorrow when they tear out the upstairs one. I think we will have use of the bathroom downstairs for most of the renovation though. Actually it is not too bad..kinda cozy. :)

everything is all boarded up as most of the windows have been removed

floor joists are in to bring up the floor in the old computer room and the entry way is framed in

new walls on the edge of the new stairs and for my new pantry.

this was taken from where the kitchen table used to sit. Notice that the front door is also gone and the opening boarded up. that is where the new fireplace will be.

we added a new closet in the small bedroom upstairs. It is quite small now, but will work ok.

they cut an opening for our new stairs today. Also note that the wood stove is sitting in front of the window!!

The wood stove corner empty and th efront closet is gone.

they removed the window in the tv room and the little half wall is gone. notice that you can see the front door now from the back door!

the wreck of the kitchen. We are totally moved out of the house now and trying to get organized in the garage. I will take pics of our new digs as soon as I can dig out a space big enough to show you :)

We totally loved seeing all the kids at the wedding. Thanks again for all your help and for being such great people!! We love you.

Thanks to all the family that came up from Utah for coming and especially for all the help at the wedding! YOU ROCK! You really made a very stressful time for us much easier...I love you all.

Finally after almost a week and a half of no work being done... the framers showed up today and we are finally getting a floor on the new addition.

We are almost totally moved into our new home in the garage out back... I will post pictures as soon as it is finished in a couple days...we will need help getting the fridge out of the house so that will have to wait until after the wedding.

Time to move the piano... the end of an era and I am kinda sad to see it go. I gave it to a girl in the ward that was sooo happy to get it! it will be well used at her house. Sorry Jane, I know you wanted it... but ... Ohio is just too far to ship it!
